Favorite Races

OK, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but whether it’s food, music, or road races, we all have favorites.  I’ll use this space to let you know about some of my favorite races.  Some will be big ones that everyone’s heard of, others will be little races that everyone needs to get to know!

My Favorite.
Cooper River Bridge Run – Charleston, SC: Late March/Early April

I know, there are so many races out there, so how can I pick a favorite.  Actually, it’s easy….muffins.  That’s right, huge blueberry muffins at the finish line.  I mean there’s also a great course, great competition and a wonderful event in one of America’s most beautiful cities, but when it comes down to it, it’s all about blueberry muffins (so they’d better have them again this year!).  Seriously, I’m heading back for my 7th year in a row – that should be all you need to know!
